When it comes to intestinal parasites, there are literally hundreds of different types you should be aware of. While parasites can live anywhere in your body, they are usually found in the intestinal tract.

Many of these intestinal parasites will release massive amounts of toxins in your body, which will ultimately lead to you becoming sick. If you are already sick or suffering from a disease, intestinal parasites will only make it worse, as they leach the nutrients and vitamins that you consume on a daily basis.

Types of Intestinal Parasites in Humans

Protozoa: Protozoa are categorized as a single cell parasite. It has the ability of multiplying dramatically inside your body. You usually pick them up through contaminated food and water.

The most common types of people to become infected are children and the elderly, but this doesn’t mean that the average, healthy person can’t become infected. Poor sanitation and hygiene are the most common cause for intestinal parasites.

Other common symptoms to be on the look out for is nausea, joint pain, migraines, chronic fatigue, blisters upon the mouth and autoimmune deficiencies. Usually these types of tests will not only tell you if you’re infected, but also but also the type of parasite — protozoa or helminths.

There are many ways for you to treat intestinal parasites. You can go to your doctor and ask for a prescription for medications such as mebendazole, thiabendazole, metronidazole, etc. These medications will help kill off the parasite, so you can pass gently pass it. Colon cleansing can also help you pass colon parasites. You can also do a parasite cleanse that consist of many natural herbs, like garlic, wormwood, black walnut, male fern root, clove, barberry, calamus, kamala, pomegranate, etc.

Intestinal parasites can be treated easily, once you know they are there. If you want to avoid becoming sick or developing some sort of disease, then finding them early is key. Your best bet at avoiding them all together is to have good hygiene and wash your hands after going to the bathroom.
